Kegel Junior Elite Team 2006
The Kegel Training Center of Lake Wales announced the top contenders to represent KEGEL in the upcoming Junior World Team Challenge in Las Vegas on June 22-25, 2006. After several scheduled rounds of auditions and tournaments, the KEGEL Coaches narrowed it down to the top 12 contenders. Those 12 members are considered the 2006 Kegel Jr. Elite.
Due to the overwhelming success of the team from 2005, KEGEL not only expanded from one to two teams to represent the Corporation, but added a developmental team as well. The Coaches hope to duplicate the outstanding performance of the team in 2005, who won the highest honor, the Junior World Team Championship. The 2 teams selected were escorted to Las Vegas by Randy Stoughton, Director of the KEGEL Training Center and his Team of Coaches, Stephen Padilla, and Sue Merritt. This unique Coaching Team will concentrate on the Teams and their performance throughout the competition. The developmental team were groomed throughout the year to have a better chance of competing in future events. The teams will practice together at Kegel Training Center in a strict training program until such competitions present themselves.
Due to the overwhelming response from the try outs In addition to the Kegel Elite team announced a developmental team.
